We usually remove the doors and spray them; I started using Jake’s Door Racks 6 years ago and was amazed how much time this system saved. I used them first on regular doors and then on cabinets. It was unbelievable how easy and clean it was to paint both sides of the doors and store them wet in the dry rack. I would not ever consider going on any of my jobs that involves doors without bringing the Racks. I use the Racks for as little as 2 or 3 doors, because it is so easy to set up and even with only a couple of doors, it will still save time because both sides of the doors are finished the same day and they are dry for the next day to be installed. But I could not imagine ever going on to a jobsite with 40 to 60 kitchen cabinet doors or a house full of regular doors without having my racks, that’s where the racks pay of big time. I researched the different models available on the Internet and decided on Jake's Door Rack painter system. I am very glad I did for number of reasons. Jake's looks simple and it is! It is easy to set up, move around and store. It takes one time to use to implement your own way of use. To Help first time users out, before use, tape or lacquer the ends of the aluminum rods on the drying rack holders. This will eliminate black marks on enameled woodwork.
